What is the APRS?The APRS promotes the highest standards of professionalism and quality within the audio industry.
Operating as a networking group, it acts as a conduit allowing its members to share best practice, the latest technological and commercial trends and provides access to business support.
Its members include music and post-production recording studios, mastering and replication houses, manufacturers and suppliers of professional audio equipment and services, as well as individual audio freelancers, consultants and students.
There is a vibrant collection of associates and affiliates from allied industries, as well as an education and training section which offers accreditation of audio and music technology courses carried out under the JAMES (Joint Audio Media Education Services) umbrella.
The APRS also actively represents its members to government, educators and other key players in the audio sectors. It also administers UK Trade and Investment grants that support UK pro audio manufacturers in developing export markets.
A regular events programme keeps members updated on the application of new equipment, as well as new opportunities to develop practical skills by showing how best to exploit their investment.
