APRS Sound Fellowship
"Friends"
The recipients of the
2009 APRS Sound Fellowships
have now been announced honouring a rich selection of sound recording business heroes with whom we are proud to be associated.
In addition, we are inaugurating a ‘keynote’ speech section
–
the
“Harewood Toast”
- where we invite icons within the film and music industries to speak openly about what they think of us!
Our aim is to develop the
APRS Fellowship Lunch
as an annual ‘not to be missed’, year-end occasion where the
whole industry can network, celebrate and relax together
in a luxurious but cost-effective way. At the same time we will be showcasing and reinforcing the value that our services bring to the entertainment sector. To achieve this we plan to
invite key creative industry players
to attend as our guests to remind them of the skills and expertise that the future of their own sectors rely upon.
We are only too aware, in these times of austerity, of the importance of
keeping costs
of production, as well as the cost to attendees,
within sensible limits
, as well as giving value in terms of event profile for sponsors and corporate supporters. In this respect, the ticket price has been honed to £115 (non-APRS), with a discounted rate of £100 (other audio professionals), and a much-discounted price of £85 (APRS members) in the expectation that many of our smaller studio and manufacturer members will
utilise the event as a corporate, ‘end-of-year’ outing.
The APRS, being a not-for-profit body, allows us to seek affordable support to help cover some of the costs of the Lunch. So, in addition to our usual sponsorship opportunities, we are establishing a
‘Friends’
community who can make an
i
nexpensive contributi
on
but still be recognised as participants in the Sound Fellowship occasion. In return for a fixed contribution of
£150
,
Fellowship Friends will have:
- their names or logos displayed at the event
- listed on the Menu
- as well as on the APRS website for 10 months following the Lunch
- with a link to their own sites.
Becoming a
Fellowship Friend
is an opportunity
open to all
,
large or small companies, individuals or groups, studios, manufacturers, service providers, members and non-members.
We are also seeking sponsor
support for various aspects of the event so if you or your company would like to be acknowledged as the supporter of:
